Lagaam Rakshak
When the warning is not enough, Rakshak brakes.
Automated emergency braking for commercial vehicles. Uses forward vision and proximity sensing to slow the vehicle when a collision is imminent.
When the warning is not enough, Rakshak brakes.
Most collisions give a few seconds of warning. Drishti uses those seconds to alert the driver. Rakshak acts if the driver does not.
It fuses the forward camera with proximity sensing to estimate time to collision. Below a safe threshold it first warns, then applies controlled braking to reduce speed or stop.
Every intervention is logged with video so fleet managers can see what happened and why.
What it does
Sensor fusion
Camera and proximity data combined for a reliable time-to-collision estimate.
Staged response
Audible warning first, then partial braking, then full braking if needed.
Logged interventions
Each brake event is recorded with before-and-after video.
Fail-safe design
Driver input always takes priority; the system steps back when the driver acts.
What changes after installation
- Fewer rear-end and pedestrian collisions
- Lower severity when impact cannot be avoided
- Evidence for every intervention
- Works alongside Drishti alerts
Who uses it
Common questions
Can it be fitted to existing vehicles?
Rakshak is engineered for retrofit on supported commercial vehicles. Fitment is assessed per vehicle model during a site survey.
Pairs well with
Lagaam Drishti
ADAS and driver monitoring in one unit. Warns before a collision, flags fatigue and phone use, and keeps video proof of every event.
