Started on the highway.
Lagaam began on the highway. Indian trucks, buses and cabs cover enormous distances with drivers working long shifts, and most fleet owners only learn what happened after something goes wrong. Our first product, the Drishti dashcam, changed that by watching both the road and the driver and warning in the moment.
The same building blocks, cameras, edge models and a platform that keeps evidence, work far beyond vehicles. A forklift aisle, a school gate, a poultry shed and a forest highway all have the same need: notice the important thing early, tell the right person, and keep a record.
Today Lagaam works across logistics, manufacturing, public safety, agriculture and civic infrastructure. Our goal is simple to say and hard to do: bring useful computer vision to every sector, in every part of the country.
